Free Fishing Weekend at Babcock Lake and all freshwaters located within New York State. Each year, during the last full weekend in June, you do not need to buy a NYS fishing license to fish freshwaters in NYS, including Babcocok Lake! On June 12, 2010, it is free fishing day within the State of Vermont.
